The Wire & Cable Manufacturers’ Alliance (WCMA) is a non-profit business association serving the manufacturers of low to high voltage electrical, electronic and fiber optic wire and cable with an established manufacturing base located in North America, including the producers of signal and current-carrying wire and fiber, the producers of bulk cables, and wire and cable processors.
Corporate membership includes manufacturing companies as described above, as well as, industry suppliers, service providers, affiliated companies and organizations serving the cable manufacturing and processing industry.
WCMA produces premier events that bring owners, executives, and key managers together for networking, the exchange of information, and to promote the wire and cable industry.
The Wire & Cable Manufacturers' Alliance was established in June 2004, as the successor organization to the Wire & Cable Clubs of America.
WCMA continues, and has added to, the activities of the Clubs, which began hosting its business and social gatherings in the early 1980's, under the direction of the late Dick and Harriet Callahan, publishers of Wire Industry News.
The Wire & Cable Manufacturers’ Alliance is a Connecticut non-stock corporation, incorporated in August 2005 as a non-profit business league.
WCMA is governed by a member-elected Board of Directors.
Daily operations, including membership, finances and events, are managed by Executive Director, Ed Fenton Contact Us.
